Beach Life in North Goa!

Beach Life in North Goa: Calangute Beach.
Goa being the smallest state is very peaceful and lovable due to its picturesque coastal stretches and the life around it during season. The tourist season in Goa starts from 1st of October and ends by 31 May and rarely extends to second week of June to few people.

The most important beaches in North Goa are Calangute, Baga, Candolim, Sinquerim, Anjuna, Vagator and Arambol. There few other beaches which are also very important, like Dona Paula and Miramar beaches in Panaji City.

Calangute Beach is located about 35 kms from Dabolim International Airport and 35 kms from Margao Railway station. The nearest railway station is Thivim Railway station. The Calangute beach is the first and the most important beach for a traveller and from they move to any other place. If you have not been to Calangute, then it seems, you have not seen Goa! Calangute beaches are famous for the sun bathers, beach side shacks, boat cruise in the coastal waters, parachute safari drawn by the moving speed boats (the most iportant and attractive item in peak summer, between December to May), lovely night restaurants, etc. The hotels in Calangute are in different categories like two to five star. There are beach side private homestays availabe.
Calangute Beach is extending towards north and it is named Baga Beach and extends south and known as Candolim Beach. Calangute beach has more tourists than any other beaches due to its singular populairty among the travellers.
